The West line has been joined through the generations by many other family lines.  In some cases, we think that we can trace the lineage of these merging blood lines (at least for a few generations), but in many others, we cannot.  What influences these unions may have had on our family makeup, we can only guess, but this diagram shows the relationship of some of the known West family connections, down to our common ancestor - Daniel Lafayette West.
